Christchurch City Council - Further Responses to IHP Requests for Further Information - 20 December 2023

On 20 December 2023 Counsel for Christchurch City Council filed a Memorandum regarding panel requests for further information. 

This Memorandum included appendices A to N as published below. Please read this Memorandum in conjunction with Memorandum of Counsel dated 31 October 2023 and Memorandum of Council dated 29 November 2023.

Christchurch City Council - Responses to IHP Requests for Further Information - 29 November 2023

On 29 November 2023 Counsel for Christchurch City Council filed a Memorandum regarding panel requests for further information.

Introduction

The Independent Hearings Panel has been appointed by Christchurch City Council. It is made up of five commissioners, who act independently and will provide a report and recommendations on PC14 to the Council.

All procedural minutes and directions of the IHP will be published on this page. Along with memorandum of Counsel for Christchurch City Council and memorandum of counsel for submitters and submitter correspondence.

Hearings

The Panel held hearings on submissions and further submissions on Christchurch City Council's proposed Housing and Business Choice Plan Change in October and November 2023 (weeks 1 to 8) and in April 2024 (weeks 9 and 10).  

Hearings were heard in accordance with the IHP Hearing Procedures and the Hearing topics and subtopics schedule (updated February 2024).

Evidence, statements and filed documents

Expert evidence that are to be called by any party was required to be circulated prior to the hearing, in accordance with hearing procedures and any directions of the IHP. Evidence was also required to be provided to the IHP Secretariat within the timeframes specified.
